Dale Sims, co-founder of seafood supplier CleanFish, said Thursday he is leaving the company to pursue another seafood venture.

Sims helped create San Francisco-based CleanFish with Tim O'Shea in 2004. O'Shea left when the company was sold in 2018 to Boston-based Sea 2050, a holding company for Wulf's Fish. CleanFish built its reputation by supplying seafood from artisanal producers.

"I wish all my colleagues and friends at CleanFish the very best and am confident they will continue to build on the platform to which I gave birth," Sims said.
