Chilean fishing company Pesquera Camanchaca opened a new logistics center for the company’s production and storage./ the facility will also serve companies in different industries in Chile's Bio Bio region, where the company operates.

The company invested $5 million (€4.4 million) to build the 34,000-square-meter center, which will generate 400 jobs.

However, it said it could increase its current storage capacity to 50,000 square meters and add cold storage and an annex to facilitate exports and imports, with investments that could add up to $15 million (€13.3 million).
