Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway-owned CTB has acquired a majority share in Danish processing equipment supplier Cabinplant for an undisclosed amount.
Cabinplant -- with subsidiaries in Poland, Germany, Spain and the United States -- is an equipment supplier to the seafood and shellfish sector as well as the fruit, vegetable and poultry markets. The company has over 300 employees worldwide and representatives in more than 30 countries.
CTB is a global designer, manufacturer and marketer of systems and solutions for preserving grain; producing poultry, pigs and eggs, and processing poultry.
