There's no standing still for German processing equipment supplier Baader. In light of the "fourth industrial revolution," known as Industry 4.0, the group has a clear vision to create one digital platform for the seafood processing industry.
This means it is moving from being a sole hardware supplier to a software supplier too -- with the help of artificial intelligence (AI) and big data solutions.
Stefan Frehse of Baader Digitalization said at the salmon@baader event in in Lübeck, Germany, Thursday that the use of new, disruptive technologies will revolutionize the way seafood is processed.
