Despite a slow-down in consumption in the Asian market in the fourth quarter of last year, Norwegian salmon giant Marine Harvest is continuing to see huge potential in the region, Charlie Wu, managing director Asia Pacific at the company, told IntraFish.

And the company is now considering opening a value-added products (VAP) processing plant in China, after the normalization of the "icy" political relations between China and Norway in December last year.
