The owner of UK whitefish processing giant Young's Seafood has completed its acquisition of German pollock producer Greenland Seafood that it announced in October, the company confirmed to IntraFish.
Eight Fifty Food Group, the owner of Young's Seafood, itself controlled by CapVest Partners, will acquire Hamburg-headquartered AliSa International GmbH, trading as Greenland Seafood, after receiving approval from the relevant competition authorities.
“The transaction is now complete,” a company spokesperson told IntraFish.
