Young’s Seafood fined $1 million after worker loses fingers in mixing machine

The worker was creating the mix for fish cakes at the company’s Humberstone Road factory in Grimsby when his thumb and two fingers were severed.

Doctors were unable to reattach the worker's fingers and he has not yet been able to return to work. The incident happened in October 2017.
