Young’s Seafood confirmed 42 of its 2,500 employees in Grimsby have tested positive for COVID-19 and are currently self-isolating.
A spokesperson told IntraFish the cases stretch across eight of the company’s sites and are a small percentage of the total workforce.
The Grimsby community has seen a significant increase in positive cases over the past eight weeks.
“We’d like to highlight that this is not an outbreak by any means,” said the spokesperson.
