Construction of Mowi's new 100,000-metric-ton processing plant in Hitra, Norway, is now underway, with the facility slated for completion in 2024.
The factory will replace Mowi’s current factory in Ulvan.
"This will be a state-of-the-art factory built for the future," said Olaf Skjaervik, director of Mowi Mid Region.
"The new factory will produce high-quality seafood in a much more efficient way than we do today."
