The British Frozen Foods Federation (BFFF) says the industry has swapped uncertainty surrounding Brexit for uncertainty related to coronovirus as companies try to plot the way forward.

"We came out of the mist, then headed back into it fairly quickly, and I think we are even deeper in it now," BFFF CEO Richard Harrow told IntraFish.

The executive said from conversations he has held that cold storage centers appear to be "reasonably full but not stupidly so," adding available storage space may be helped by a slowdown in frozen goods, including processed seafood arriving from China.
