French smoker and processor Meralliance, part of the Thai Union group since 2014, is recalling a line of smoked, diced salmon from retailers following the discovery of traces of Listeria monocytogenes.

News of the development emerged in a press release from French retailer Carrefour, but French media was quick to latch on to the story, reporting that the farmed Atlantic salmon products are also on sale at outlets operated by Systeme U and Casino.
