The CFO of Alaska seafood processor Silver Bay Seafoods has left the company a little more than a month after being hired for the position.
The appointment of Michael Guy as the company's new CFO was reported in January. Guy joined Silver Bay after nearly 11 years as CFO at Fishermen's Finest, a Kirkland, Washington-based Alaska groundfish harvesting group.
The appointment of Guy earlier this year came one day after the announcement that Silver Bay Chief Operating Officer Jon Hickman had left the group.
