Processing giant Seachill a supplier to UK retail chain Tesco, dropped its name in order to align its branding with its parent company, Hilton Food Group.

Following the re-branding decision, the company will be known as Hilton Seafood UK, instead, sources told IntraFish.

This month, Seachill Finance Director Andrew Rutherford left his position at the company, according to a release.

Hilton Food Group posted results for the first half of its 2019 financial year, revealing revenue growth of 5.6 percent to £912 million (€1 billion/$1.1 billion).

The results, for the 28 weeks to July 14 show its volume of production in Western Europe increased by 5.9 percent, with the report citing that it "primarily reflected higher UK volumes including strong growth at Seachill."
