Scottish smoked salmon and shellfish producer Associated Seafoods saw its turnover surge 75 percent in its latest financial year to October 2022, driven largely by its acquisition of processing assets from fish farmer Dawnfresh Seafood.
'We are looking at taking new products and fish to all our markets, utilizing the breadth of our offerings, as we seek to grow organically, and through potential acquisitions as opportunities arise.'
Turnover climbed to £69.1 million (€80.7 million/$89.3 million) from £39.5 million (€46.1 million/$51 million) in the year prior.
