Russian Fishery Company (RFC), one of Russia’s largest producers of whitefish, has delivered its first batch of surimi to domestic seafood supplier KVEN.
The company produced crabsticks, imitation crabmeat and a number of other pollock products.
Previously, KVEN purchased surimi exclusively abroad, in Japan, the United States, Chile, Argentina, and Vietnam.
"We are pleased with the result," said Evgeny Morgunkov, general director at KVEN.
