Royal Greenland’s new joint venture, Royal Fresh Fish, will significantly expand its production capacity and product portfolio in the European market, with a particular focus on fresh products.
The joint venture was established in Cuxhaven, Germany on May 1 in a bid to strengthen production and market reach in the European fresh and refresh market, which has experienced significant growth over the past several years.
The operation will be jointly owned by seafood veteran, Carsten Frydkjaer, who among other ventures founded Danish group Prime Ocean Seafood in 2009.
