Russia significantly increased its amount of value-added seafood and salmon roe production during 2021, according to Rosstat, the country's federal statistics service.

Russia’s overall production of frozen fish fillets through November climbed 23.3 percent year-on-year to reach 204,000 metric tons.

Production of frozen fish meat, including minced meat, jumped 61.4 percent to 40,700 metric tons.

In general, the volume of value-added products, primarily from pollock, increased 25 percent through November.
