Canada's Clearwater Seafoods said it plans to invest and diversify into new products and species along with new joint venture partner Quin-Sea at the St. Anthony Seafoods plant, in Newfoundland.
It follows Wednesday's announcement that the companies have entered into an agreement to form a new joint venture that will take over operations of the plant.
"Investments in the plant will be undertaken by agreement of the partners in the new JV.
