A group of seafood processors in Boulogne-sur-Mer have unveiled development projects under a combined program of investments totalling €123 million ($149 million).

Developments are scheduled for the French northern port city's Capecure processing district in the heart of Europe's largest processing hub and on the site of the former Comilog ironworks on Boulogne’s coastal outskirts.

Plans include new office space for leading salmon importer Direct Ocean on a 2,000 square meter site, while processor Grand Frais will construct a 4,000 square meter building to undertake primary processing, packaging of prepacked items and the logistics aspects of the business.
