Mowi has signed an agreement to sell its processing plant in Dunkirk, northern France to fellow seafood processor Sofipeche.
A family-owned business, Sofipeche operates primarily from Boulogne-sur-Mer.
The Dunkirk plant -- formerly known as Appéti’Marine -- specializes in the production of frozen salmon and seafood specialties and will bring "complementary" value-added business to Sofipeche.
Mowi will continue to be a main supplier of salmon to Sofipeche and the Dunkirk plant, following the sale.
