Mowi France is preparing to open its new salmon smoking plant at Landivisiau, northwestern France at the end of April.
The automated plant, in the Brittany region of the country, sits on the site of the former Kristen smokehouse, which burned down in 2018.
The investment was budgeted at €23 million ($25.7 million) when the project was unveiled in May 2019.
