The fish division of Icelandic equipment manufacturer Marel saw its earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) fall to €2.5 million ($3 million) in the third quarter fall 13.8 percent when compared with the same period last year.

Revenues for Marel Fish in the quarter were €33 million ($39.1 million), down 9.8 percent, while the segment’s EBIT margin was at 7.6 percent. Overall, Marel Fish accounted for 12 percent of the group’s total revenues.
