Leroy Seafood Group increased it ownership in Danish supplier Seafood Danmark in the second quarter of 2021 in a bid to strengthen its downstream operations, it reported in its latest financial results.
The Danish competition authorities approved an increase of Leroy's ownership in Seafood Danmark from 33 percent to 78 percent.
Seafood Danmark has businesses in three locations in Denmark: Hirtshals and Hanstholm in Jutland, as well as outside Copenhagen in Zealand.
Companies that are part of the group include: Schlie, Leroy Schlie, Tabbel, Thorfisk, Scanfish and Johnsen Fisk.
