Land-based yellowtail farmer Kingfish Zeeland has shifted more of its production into frozen formats for retail and foodservice clients while logistics disruptions from coronavirus impact the fresh supply chain, CEO Ohad Maiman told IntraFish.

The company's operations, in Kats, The Netherlands, continues to operate at full capacity, and will continue to supply some fresh product into the restaurant sector, Maiman said, but the focus will be on existing clients.

Additional focus on retail was already on the company's "target list" this year, Maiman said.
