Japanese squid processor Asuka Foods has established a new fish processing plant in Nghe An Province in north-central Vietnam, which will serve as a foothold for the company in the Southeast Asian market, reports Niigata Nippo.
The operation will start in January next year, and will supply fish paste products such as fish balls to Vietnam and other Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries.
