Canada-based seafood supplier High Liner Foods is upbeat about the reopening of North American foodservice markets despite the current patchiness of the reopenings across different regions and localities.

In the United States the level of foodservice reopenings can vary between 25-50 percent, while in Canada the percentage very much depends of the severity of lockdown restrictions still in place, High Liner CEO Rod Hepponstall told analysts during the company's first quarter earnings call on Tuesday.
