Leading French seafood processor and trader Ocealliance has acquired two Boulogne-sur-Mer seafood businesses, cementing the group's position as one of the country's largest suppliers.

The company is taking over the operations of both Artrome’Mat and Jardins de Capecure, businesses placed in receivership in February.

Brittany, France-based Ocealliance was itself acquired by retail group Prosol, owner of the Grand Frais supermarket chain, in May.
