French seafood processor Ocealliance has acquired two local seafood businesses, helping the group extend its position as one of the country's largest suppliers.

Ocealliance, with annual sales of around €200 million ($224 million), acquired Boulogne-sur-Mer-based suppliers FFG Maree and J-Trade for an undisclosed sum.
It describes FFG Maree as "a major player" in primary processing in Europe's largest processing hub.
