Danish seafood giant Espersen and Royal Greenland are entering into a new cooperation agreement, in what they are calling a "natural development" from the partnership formed in 2017.
As part of the new set up, Espersen will acquire Royal Greenland’s current frozen retail business of breaded and battered products, which are already processed at Espersen’s facility in Koszalin, Poland, and currently marketed by Royal Greenland.
In return, Royal Greenland is acquiring Espersen’s foodservice business in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Germany and will continue to source these products from Espersen.
