Danish seafood processing giant Espersen has officially sold its operations in Russia to the local management, ending a ten-year presence in the country.
The group announced in July it was selling its business in Russia, after McDonald's -- its largest customer -- pulled out of the country in the wake of the war in Ukraine.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
With the sale, the food manufacturer joins other international companies that have sold their activities and withdrawn from Russia.
