New Zealand seafood company Sanford has announced it plans to close its processing plant in Tauranga, resulting in 65 job losses.
Sanford said the impact of COVID-19 has meant it is processing less fish caught by other companies, and the buildings at the plant do not meet new seismic strength requirements.
