Shanghai-listed seafood giant Kaichuang International will invest €30.4 million ($36.2 million) into a new tuna processing plant through subsidiary Albo in Spain.

Aimed at "enhancing" Albo's market competitiveness, the new factory in the Plisan development zone in Salvatierra in Spain's northwest Pontevedra region close to the Portuguese border, will be built on 62,979 square meters.
