Chilean salmon processing plants are now running at an average of 70 percent of capacity after six weeks of lockdown measures aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus, according to trade association SalmonChile.

After Chile entered lockdown plants cut back capacity to an average of 50-60 percent as companies put in place stategies to stem the spread of the virus and mitigate any outbreaks, industry sources told IntraFish.
