Sernapesca, Chile's National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service, has issued the first electronic health certificate for salmon shipments to China under a system aimed at streamlining the inspection process during the global COVID-19 pandemic.
The electronic certificate was issued through the Talcahuano office in Chile's southern central Biobio region using the the Sicex-Siscomex platform, a new tool implemented to facilitate the export of fishery and aquaculture products to the Asian giant.
