Amerra Capital Management-backed byproducts firm Biomega Group is building a new multimillion Euro facility in Hirtshals, Denmark.
The new biorefinery follows the company’s recent upgrade of its flagship site located on the west coast of Norway, near Bergen.
The company did not disclose the exact investment in the new facility.
Biomega transforms fresh salmon byproducts into high value, food grade, hydrolyzed salmon proteins and oils for the premium food, pet food, health and nutrition sectors.
