Wholesale prices for D trim salmon shipped from Chile into the United States increased $0.06 (€0.05) in the first month of 2019, to $5.17 (€4.52) per pound, according to DataSalmon.
The wholesale price for head-on size 10-12 salmon going into the Brazilian market was $6.12 (€5.36) per kilo, showing no change from the week prior.
Meanwhile, the average price for head-on salmon size 6 and above headed to China was $9.95 (€8.71) per kilo, $0.21 (€0.18) up from the price the week before.
