Farmed salmon prices are slated to rise slightly, thanks to the Easter season, which takes three harvesting days off the market, executives in the sector said Friday.

One Norwegian salmon exporter put prices at around NOK 53 (€4.75/$5.20) per kilogram for 3-6 kilo fish headed into next week and "a couple of NOK lower" for 6+ kilo fish.

The exporter told IntraFish markets are "naturally" being impacted by coronavirus logistics complications, but he does expect the lower volumes will spur processor demand in coming weeks.
