Norway's already sky-high farmed salmon prices have continued to move higher amid good pre-Easter demand and reduced availability.

"The prices are insane, but at the same time it is difficult to find the right level because they vary so strongly," one importer told IntraFish.

The company was buying the absolute minimum on Friday, the importer said, but was obliged to fulfill contracts, forcing it to purchase at the high levels.
