Norwegian farmed salmon prices remained static from last week as buyers purchase scant volumes and digest the situation in Eastern Europe following Thursday's invasion of Ukraine ordered by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Prices have risen to near-record highs in recent weeks, and some exporters say prices are bound to soften.
One exporter told IntraFish he cannot remember the last time prices were so high and demand so low.
