Norwegian salmon prices are not expected to change much heading into next week, with industry insiders agreeing prices will remain at the lowest level in the past five years.

The market is quiet, with very few sales so far, but the industry expects prices could move -- up or down -- no more than few kroner if at all next week.

“I expect prices to end at around NOK 40 (€4/$4.4) a kilo in Oslo, flat for anything between three and six kilos,” said a buyer.
