Prices of Chilean salmon dropped slightly in week 16, with decreases for products heading to the US, Brazil and Japan, according to the latest figures from DataSalmon.

Prices for average D trim Chilean salmon heading into the US market fell $0.06 (€0.05) to $6.09 (€5.57) per pound while those for head-on whole salmon 10-12 wholesale into Brazil fell by $0.01 (€0.01) to $8.14 (€7.44) per kilo.

Prices for frozen H&G coho to the Japanese market fell by JPY 10 (€0.08/$0.09) to JPY 865 (€7.12/$7.79)
