Prices for Chilean salmon exported to the United States fell considerably in week 19, and very slightly for product heading to Brazil, according to the latest figures from DataSalmon.
Prices for average D trim Chilean salmon heading into the US fell by $0.12 (€0.11) to $5.86 (€5.28) per kilo, while those for head-on whole salmon 10-12 wholesale heading into Brazil fell $0.02 (€0.02) to $7.90 (€7.12) per pound.
Prices for frozen H&G coho to the Japanese market rose by JPY 10 (€0.08/$0.08)
