Norwegian salmon prices are sharply up, surpassing NOK 50 (€4.70/$5.70) once again, as harvesting winds up before the Christmas break.

They are now up around NOK 10 (€0.94/$1.10) per kilo from the level last Friday to somewhere between NOK 53 (€5/$6.10) and NOK 54 (€5.10/$6.20) per kilo.

Fewer harvesting days than normal this week have contributed to the increase.
