Norwegian salmon prices are largely stable heading into next week, despite some modest price increases on Thursday and Friday morning.
On Friday afternoon, prices were going back to the levels seen last week, with only certain sizes slightly increasing.
An exporter told IntraFish the holidays in Europe and an abundance of fish in the market are keeping prices at low levels. At the moment, the market is slow. “Sales are happening later and later."
The NOK depreciation against the euro, which should help boost sales, is not having much impact on this week’s trade.
