The Norwegian salmon market is shrouded in uncertainty this week after several sources reported higher prices last week.

This week disagreement among market sources is rife.

"I think it's pretty calm. It seems like there is some leftover fish out and about and some weekend processing," one producer said.

One exporter said that more people are pushing for higher prices but that prices could actually go down based on the appearance of the market.

"This week there have been some weather changes, so there have been a little less fish than expected and most have managed to sell the fish well.
