Norwegian salmon prices are falling again into next week, sliding to the NOK 40's.
As the low prices remain, buyers in Europe say they are at maximum capacity, which is slowing down trade this week.
“We would like to buy more at these prices, but we can’t process all the fish. And this is precisely what keeps prices low, too,” one European importer told IntraFish.
Prices are around NOK 47 (€4.80/$5.40) per kilo for 3-4 kilos of fish delivered to Oslo, he said.
