The Norwegian public holiday this week has left those who remained behind in the market in disagreement over the level of salmon prices.
"It is very hard. Prices will probably come down, but how much we do not know" said one exporter.
He said buyers and sellers are struggling to meet leading to a lack of trading, other than the so-called Nasdaq price, which is set early next week.
