Last week, Norwegian salmon prices jumped by NOK 15 (€1.40/$1.50) per kilo before the Christmas weekend, due to less volume on the market than was expected, and heading into the New Year they remain at similar levels, according to several industry players.
There is little change in prices, exporters told IntraFish and they will probably end up at between NOK 80 (€7.60/$8.10) and NOK 86 (€8.20/$8.70) per kilo.
