Norwegian farmed salmon prices look like they might be headed for a new low in a market heavy with fish at the moment, sources told IntraFish.
"[Prices] are going down, but exactly how much, we don't know yet," an exporter told IntraFish, citing pressure from Scotland, which has contributed to the heavy market.
Scotland is being blamed for pumping out high volumes at low prices and underbidding Norwegian salmon in prices, said one source.
