Norwegian salmon prices appear stable this week after rising last week, after a long period of decline, according to several industry sources.
The most sought after fish -- in the 4–5 kg category -- are going for between NOK 46–50 (€4.36-4.74/$5.17-5.61) kg on average.
One exporter said prices have stabilized, and is expecting the same average prices next week. He reports producer prices of NOK 43 (€4.08/4.83) for 3-4 kilogram fish.
